The International Herald Tribune is a condensed version of the New York Times, published in Paris and thus presented with a European slant. "All the News that's Fit to Print" in a smaller package. 

Euro News is a television program that presents world news from a particualrly European perspective.

BBC World News is one of the oldest worldwide news services that presents news in the classic Dragnet fashion..."just the facts, ma'am"

The Economist is the premier magazine presenting the capitalist perspective on all things political, social and economic. A first class source where top-notch reporters give crisp anaylsis and commentary on a variety of world events. Highly recommended reading for anyone considering majoring in finance, economics, politics, government or international business.  

The Atlantic Monthly is a literary/current events magaizine. Somewhat political in its overall content, it seeks to expose and educate people on a variety of topics. High lexile level magazine.

Harper's Magazine is high- brow magazine devoted to criticism of all things politcal and social. Excellent topics, clever lay-out, exceptional writing...a tour de force for anyone who wants to see what real writers can do with the essay format.
